Ricci - feel free to add blog posts if you get anything good from their research. I agree - grading has to change. Getting to that point isn't easy. It takes a very consistent approach. I've really enjoyed working with different faculties/schools/systems on analyzing their assessment and grading practices. Sometimes I end up getting under some people's skin a little bit at first - not intentionally, but thinking about change isn't always easy for some. However, the result is usually a truly positive step in the right direction.
Welcome to Assessment FOR Learning. Please introduce yourself by clicking on the Forum tab at the top of the page & replying to the Introductions Forum. It doesn't have to be anything long. Just a short "Who I Am" and perhaps the reason for your interest in AFL.
Also, I would suggest clicking on the "Read 1st" tab at the top of the main page. This could give you some good ideas for using this site.
Feel free to add ideas, blog posts, forum discussions, or videos that you think would be helpful to people as they are considering AFL in their classroom/schools.
If you have ideas for content that should be added, feel free to let me know. I look forward to hearing from you in Forum Discussions and reading your ideas in any Blog Posts you care to write. Also, if you use Twitter, I would invite you to follow me at @scotthabeeb.
